Flagship course
Revenue Leak Detection
A six-week path that trains you to interrogate a revenue assurance audit app like an investigator — not a report consumer.
Learning outcomes
- Build a source-to-bill trace for a selected product line
- Prioritise exception queues by revenue materiality, not volume
- Document findings with evidence a UK finance partner can reuse
- Write remediation notes with owners, deadlines, and residual risk
- Recognise when the app is limited by feed quality rather than configuration
Who it suits
Billing analysts, revenue operations leads, and finance partners who already see exception reports but struggle to turn them into closed leakage cases.
You should be comfortable with spreadsheets and basic SQL-style filters. You do not need to be a developer.
Modules
- Assurance map — inventory feeds, owners, and known blind spots before opening the app.
- Event fidelity — spot incomplete mediation and duplicate usage signatures.
- Rating & offer drift — connect tariff changes to exception spikes.
- Unbilled & delayed revenue — triage aged items without chasing noise.
- Sampling under pressure — size reviews when the queue will never be cleared in full.
- Close-cycle readout — package findings for weekly ops and monthly finance reviews.
Instructor
Miriam Cole

Learner notes
“I finally have a sampling rule for the unbilled aged bucket that our controller signed off. The course still assumes you can get a clean product catalogue export — we spent an extra week on that before module four.”
Jordan M. · Assurance analyst, Manchester
“Short, sharp feedback on my remediation notes. Less theory than I expected, which suited me.”

FAQ
Do I need a licensed revenue assurance audit app to take the course?
No. We supply anonymised scenario exports. If your employer already runs an app, you can optionally map exercises onto your own screens — with care not to share confidential data in forums.
How live are the sessions?
Desk Pass is self-paced with written checkpoints. Control Cycle adds six live UK daytime sessions. Ledger Cohort schedules are agreed privately.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not configure vendor software for you, and we cannot guarantee recovered revenue. Outcomes depend on feed quality, organisational ownership, and how far leadership will fund remediation. The course improves judgement and documentation; it is not a penetration test of your billing stack.
Is there a certificate?
Yes — a PDF certificate of completion after marked checkpoints are passed. It is educational recognition, not a regulated professional licence.
